Triremes

How it works: three oars

  1. Finding problems. Problem Finder reads public sources, such as app-store reviews, and groups the complaints that keep coming up. A problem only counts when many people describe it independently. Anyone can browse them.
  2. Finding businesses. People Finder looks for the businesses behind those complaints. It uses only contact details a business has published as its own, such as the address on its contact page, and it records where it found each one. It skips sources whose terms forbid contacting their authors.
  3. Sending a note. Outreach Mailer sends one short, plain-text email per business. Before a campaign sends anything, its owner approves the template and then each of its first ten messages, one by one. Every message goes out from a real person's address, carries at most one link (to this site), and ends with a way to opt out. It never goes to anyone who has opted out, never more than a few a day, and never twice to the same address within 30 days.

What Triremes does not do

No bought lists, no data brokers, no tracking pixels, no automated follow-ups, and no machine-written emails. Every message comes from a template a person wrote. Contact details are never sold, and no one browsing Triremes ever sees them.
